Tufline
is pleased to announce the addition of The GroundHog disc
as their newest addition to an extensive line of attachments
for the ATV and utility vehicle market.
The GroundHog's compact design makes it ideal for sportsman
and gardener's alike. It's lightweight enough for one man
to carry and easily flips over for easy transport behind your
ATV or utility vehicle. Built to be durable enough for the
sportsman market the GroundHog will plow anywhere your ATV
will go and will also plow in reverse for working in tight
places. The GroundHog is virtually maintenance free and its
size allows for easy storage when not in use.
Its innovative design is a breakthrough in size to power
ratio. It weighs only 40 lbs. but because it attaches directly
into a receiver tube on most ATVs the weight of the ATV forces
The GroundHog into the ground ensuring an aggressive cut.
It has adjustable plowing depths and flips over for transport
behind the ATV eliminating the need for extra trailer space
to and from the site.
The GroundHog utilizes 8” hi-strength 1060 grade disc
blades with 3/4” tapered roller bearings. It has a cutting
width of 21". The axle is 3/4” stress proof steel
welded to a heavy 2” steel tube adjustable frame. The
GroundHog ships with a universal mount system for ATVs without
a 2" factory receiver.
Tim Perkins, President and CEO of Tufline, says "The
GroundHog, with its unique size and aggressive cutting ability,
is the most innovative ATV disc on the market today making
2006 the Year of the GroundHog."
